For over 50 years...

  • 1962

    Arrington Brothers construction formed

    During the early years of the business, Arrington Brothers built homes, cabinets, and other small miscellaneous projects.

  • 1970

    Shift to general contracting & industrial projects

    Arrington Brothers fielded concrete, wood framing, finish carpentry, and steel erection crews. Much of our work was self-performed.

  • 1989

    Sold to Glenn Arrington & renamed Starr Corp

    During this transition the company name was changed to Starr Corporation.

  • Early 1990's

    Construction Mngmt & Design/Build delivery method introduced

    Many of our contracts during the 1990s were construction management. As our construction management contacts increased, our self performed work decreased.

  • 1997

    Start our Partnership with OSHA

    Starr Corporation has found success with the design/build delivery method. Many of our customers prefer this delivery method due to compressed project schedules, single source responsibility, and high level of satisfaction with the completed project.

  • 2008

    Michael Arrington becomes president

    Glenn retired as President of Starr Corporation. Michael Arrington, a third generation son purchased Glenn’s interest in Starr Corporation and is currently serving as President.

  • 2010

    Open Eastern Idaho office

    Starr Corporation opened an office in Pocatello to better serve the eastern Idaho market.

  • 2012

    OSHA Partner

    Starr was one of the first contractors in the state of Idaho to join the OSHA Partner Program

  • 2014

    CM/GC legislation to Idaho's licensing

    Our team was one of the first in the state of Idaho to provide CM/GC services after it was authorized for use by public entities in July of 2014.

  • Present Day

    Continue as industry leader in Idaho

    We continue to field crews to self-perform concrete, framing, steel erection, site utility and earthmoving crews to meet the needs of the market and our clients.
